Coin Tricks
When it comes to coin tricks and slight of hand there is nothing more fun. Sleight of hand coin tricks can be done anywhere just like card tricks but it has one positive. You do not have to carry around something like a deck with you. Coin tricks can be preformed anywhere at all because even if you don't have any coins with you chances are that someone in the audience will. Just like its mentioned in the card trick section all of these tricks do require sleight of hand so it is a good idea to preform these tricks in front of a mirror before you go on to an audience.
There is a slight draw back to coin magic when it comes to practicing however. Even though you can do the majority of your practice some of the tricks that you can preform do require that you use an audience member to hide the coin. An example of this is where you magician makes the coin appear on a spectators shoulder after seeming to make the coin vanish after the trick goes wrong when the coin is meant to jump from one hand to another. If you are looking to do more interesting tricks for coins there is a few gimmicks that you can get to do this they include magic match boxes to vanish a coin, double sided coins and even foldable coins.

For this trick there is a small bit of sleight of hand at the end when you are passing the coin to the spectator for them to check. The trick makes more use of the spectators point of view to trick them into believing what you are showing them. The one downfall of this is sleight of hand is the fact that it can't really be preformed if there is a big crowed because the audience need to be in front of the magician.

In this trick the magician starts out with six coins on the table three on the left and three on the right. He then picks up the coins in his left and right hand. For this trick you do need to know the thumb palm (holding the coin in your hand between your thumb and index finger ) to transfer the coins from one side to the other but this is thought in the video.

This trick does not need there to be two spectators present but it does make for a more effective trick. The overall effect is that the magician puts a coin into each hand and the coin appears to jump from one hand to another. The reason that this is more effective with more people is that just like in the video you can actually get the spectators to cover each hand so that you can prove that you are not doing anything without them knowing.

The last sleight of hand in the last video is pretty easy when it comes to getting the coin to the spectators shoulder. This however is countered by the muscle pass which is extremely hard to master. Take not of the magicians hand in the video to get an idea of how much practice he had to do to get as good as he is. The muscle pass does not need to be used for this trick it is more of a show of coin control just like a card flourish.
