Card tricks
Sleight of hand card tricks can be both easy and powerful when done right. Sleight of hand can range from beginner to advanced level and when doing card tricks. It is good practice to try all tricks that you are preforming in front of a mirror before moving on to a live audience. Even before moving to a full audience you should try our tricks on family and friends first so that you get a feel for the patter end of things. This is an important side of card tricks as it is used to misdirect the audience.
A lot of the card tricks preformed by magicians seem to be some amazing feat however this is not the case as they only require you to know some simple techniques. At the end of the day its easy to be a good magician but its hard to be a great magician. So why not grab a deck of cards and begin your journey with the tricks bellow.

In this trick you see that the magician Jay preforms a simple trick which involves a double lift to get the effect that a card is put into the deck and made to appear on the top again. This will require you to also know the double lift technique which is also linked in the video after you see what the trick should look like.
The Bicycle Shadow Masters BLACK Deck is used in this video.

In this video Jay uses only 4 cards to preform this amazing trick it is a more advanced trick than the one above it but still only requires you to know a double lift. However it does require a bit more card control to pull off successfully. The whole trick only needs 2 of one kind of card and 2 different types of cards. The patter will have to change to meet the needs of the cards that you have but the basics will stay the same.

This one is known as the shapeshifter. For this one a card is picked by a spectator and then returned to the center of the deck. The cards are then shuffled and its shown that the card is not on the top or bottom of the deck. The top card is then transformed into the spectators card. The trick does require a bit more than the other videos above but everything that you will need is linked to in the video.

The final trick that I want to give an example of is this advanced trick by Jay. In this trick it appears that a card is picked at random and returned to the deck. The card is shown to be put into the deck and then shuffled. After this 9 cards are chosen by a spectator to help in finding the card that was picked at the start of the trick. Once all the cards are gone through the remaining cards are put into the spectators hand. When the cards are slapped out of the spectators hands the chosen card is all that remains.
